Canam Canada’s Project of the QuarterMontreal Garrison Building wins top honours for the fourth quarter of 2009
Building L-220 of the Canadian Armed Forces’ Montreal Garrison earned Canam Canada’s Project of the Quarter award for the fourth quarter of 2009. Located in Montreal, Quebec, this project covers a surface area of 162,000 square feet (15,050 m2) and consists of approximately 700 tons of joists, steel deck and welded wide-flange (WWF) shapes.The components were fabricated in the St.Gédéon and Boucherville plants and delivered from September to March. The customer, steel fabricator Acier Select Inc., will receive a framed photograph of the project as an expression of Canam’s appreciation.
